We’ve been using Timbuktu ProÆ remote control software from NetopiaÆ to maintain, update, and troubleshoot Macs for a very long time. With Timbuktu Pro we can connect securely to a customer’s Mac through the internet. We see their screen in a window on our office Mac, and our keyboard and mouse operate their Mac just as though we were sitting in front of it at their premises.
The advantages are obvious. No waiting for an appointment, no trip charges, and we can frequently resolve a problem during the very phone call you made to report it!
