Joe Malinsky

Joe Malinsky has run our Virginia office for many years. He comes from a diverse computer background with a significant amount of Macintosh practical experience.
Before joining Everything Macintosh, Joe was with Raytheon E-Systems, a defense company in State College, PA. He was there for 16 years as a Program Manager before moving to the Roanoke area. His prior experience includes managing teams of design and development engineers making major block upgrades to large, distributed processing systems for the United States Government.
One of Joe’s primary responsibilities as Program Manager was to represent the company to his customers and vendors; he translated/communicated the technical aspects of his programs to the government managers. As an additional duty and because of his keen interests in this area, he supervised a ninety node SUN based UNIX network and served as system administrator on a twenty node Macintosh network.
Joe’s familiarity with both Unix and Macintosh are a perfect combination, particularly since MacOS X is a Unix-based Macintosh operating system!
Joe holds a Masters of Science in Management degree and a Computer Applications certificate from Penn State.
