Darryl,
It was really great to “spend the day” with you Friday. Always fun and stimulating. Thank you for orchestrating such a smooth changeover to the new smokin’ machine. We appreciate everything you do to make us comfortable and confident with our profession.
Hope your weekend is going smoothly and is relaxing.
Talk to you soon,
Marion

Hi Darryl,
You are so knowledgeable and great to work with. Thanks for your help this morning.

Subject: Computer raised from the dead Hi all! If you or someone you know and love uses a Mac, you’ll be interested in this resource: Everything Macintosh PO Box 284 Zebulon, NC 27697 Phone: 919-404-0222 www.everythingmacintosh.com My Mac computer died on Wednesday – the first time ever. These guys had someone at my office in 24 hours. She ran a diagnostic, upgraded my operating system software, cleaned up the hard drive, worked out the bugs, and checked to be sure all the peripherals and programs were operating correctly. She also made recommendations on things I can do to make it work even better. Highly recommend these guys – but hope you never need them! HA! Angela Partin — Partin Design Group 2505 S. From: Dale Millar Subject: Re: My email problem Darryl, Misty just left a little while ago. I’ve been catching up on reading my email and came to yours. Thanks to you and to Misty for getting my email straightened out. Chris was a little “put out” because when he called the Rockliffe people while Misty was here and he was told to change some file names, he just shook his head and said, “You’d think after I called their tech support last week with this problem, someone there said you know we’ve been getting a lot of calls about that…maybe we should figure out how to fix this.” You know, it’s really frustrating when you keep getting different tech support people and one isn’t as savy and the next. Unlike you and your staff! I really appreciate the tech support you have given me. As I said to Misty today when my system was up and the email working, “Just one more satisfied customer!”

Subject: Excellent Mac Resource From: Ron Rosenberg I have been a member of this list since its inception, and have been impressed with the level of knowledge and the willingness of members to share information. In this spirit, I wanted to let you know about an excellent Mac resource who has been helping us for years. Darryl Lewis runs a company called Everything Macintosh. Simply put, he is the most knowledgeable source of Macintosh expertise I have ever found. I have been using Macs myself since the days of the LISA computer (the predecessor of the Mac); I have an undergraduate degree in computer science; and I know the inner workings of the Mac and its operating system fairly well. When faced with a Mac problem I can’t figure out, I call Darryl. There have been times when I have spent several hours trying to figure out a problem with my network, or a piece of software, or one of our computers, only to run into a brick wall. Invariably, when I call Darryl he has the problem identified within five minutes and begins implementing the solution immediately. Many times we can solve the problem over the phone; when necessary he hascome to our office to do the work. However, recently we have begin using Timbuktu, a program that allows remote access to your computer over the internet. Now, we give Darryl a password to our network, and he actually “takes over” our machine and makes the necessary changes remotely from his own office. This solution, of course, means that he can solve most software-based problems wherever the machine happens to be located. If you are like me, you have probably noticed a steady decline in the level of service in general over the last few years. Darryl Lewis is the exception to this, and he has my highest recommendation. Subject: Thanks Just want to thank you for sending Mr. Malinsky to fix my daughter’s computer. He was fantastic. He was quite knowledgeable, and very professional. He was able to correct the problems and explain to me what had happened. I am so glad that I was told about your company. I have already told friends of mine who own a Mac to keep your company in mind if any problems arise. Thanks again and please thank Mr.Malinsky for me. Greg Gaspari.

Subject: your site Hi Darryl, What a great site you’ve put together! Just read the very helpful article on OS X. Thanks for such an informative piece. I look forward to staying up to date on Mac issues through your site. Hope you and Kathy are having a great weekend, Marion

I picked up the new Quantum Hd he reccomended (20gb no doubt) and it runs like a champ. As a matter of fact, my 266 G3 feels more like a 333. I’ll recommend you to anyone. I’ll tell them you are the “Michael Jordan of Macs”. Sincerely, Jason Cossette Jason Cossette Graphic Designer Wake County Public School System

Mr. Darryl Lewis Everything Macintosh P.O. Box 284 Zebulon, NC 27597 Dear Darryl: I can’t thank you enough for your help and patience. Sometimes you meet people in your work-related environment who are strictly “business” associates. Sometimes you meet people you would like to consider “friend.” You are the latter. Thank you.
